Looking for something new and exciting for 2019?

The Brawlin’ Betties are recruiting and would love to meet you!!

Two times a year we bring the team out just to talk to anyone who is curious about any part of Flat Track Roller Derby: skaters/players, skating refs, non-skating officials, and any level of volunteering or sponsorship.

No need to know how to skate, we’ll teach you! Skating not your thing, but still want to be part of an inclusive and supportive community? Perfect!

We’re looking for referees and non-skating officials (NSOs) too! We welcome everyone! ❤

Transfer Skaters

All transfers must demonstrate that they can pass the WFTDA minimum skills test. Local league transfers must try out during regularly scheduled tryouts. Implant transfers (moving to Santa Barbara from 100+ miles away) are eligible to join throughout the year. After participating in 8 nearly consecutive league practices (equaling 4-6 weeks), she is eligible to be invited to Bouting Squad practice.

Our official crew is the Derby Justice League. The DJL is comprised of skating and non skating officials and are a valued part of our league. We are always accepting new Justice Leauge members.
